Icon of Sin
But 8 bit music is nerdgasming. You like YsF better than YsO then? If so, any reason why? Edited October 5, 2012 by Dio
Shadow Mir
Alright, let's try this. Hahah, now that's what I'm talking about
Rehab
Arr, thanks frer, but sometimes I take avoiding disliking something so seriously, I forget to form an opinion I can actually communicate. That can be a little awkward My backlog for every bit era combined is massive, like multiple pantheons of forgotten gods. I have way too many older RPGs to play, especially. TheEnd
But 8 bit music is nerdgasming. Too primitive. You like YsF better than YsO then? If so, any reason why? Perhaps the soundtrack Alright, let's try this. >No jump button
Ein
How does The End play RPGs without a jump button? >_>
Nightmare
8-bit consoles were just too primitive. I agree, to an extent. And don't even get me started on Atari. Edited October 5, 2012 by Nightmare

TheEnd
How does The End play RPGs without a jump button? >_> I don't have to physically dodge shit in regular RPGs, etc. I agree, to an extent. And don't even get me started on Atari. There was a very clear limit to how far an 8-bit game could go, so. It's part of the charm I suppose. That's pretty much comparing awesome and win. 8-bit music has a retro feel to it, but it isn't something I can usually put in my playlist. I know right
Ein
I don't have to physically dodge shit in regular RPGs, etc. There was a very clear limit to how far an 8-bit game could go, so. It'd definitely be nice. Nonsense. 8-bit music has proven just how creative it can get and is.
Icon of Sin
8-bit music has a retro feel to it, but it isn't something I can usually put in my playlist. I know right I usually don't listen to much video game music outside of when playing said game. I love that desert level in YsO so much because of it. TheEnd
It'd definitely be nice. Nonsense. 8-bit music has proven just how creative it can get and is. I never denied the creativity. But creativity alone isn't enough for me to listen to something outside of a game or nostalgia trip. I usually don't listen to much video game music outside of when playing said game. I love that desert level in YsO so much because of it. Well, I do. I can see why, that's one of the game's best tracks.
Icon of Sin
I can see why, that's one of the game's best tracks. That one and the fire level. The caterpillar boss is also a lot less frustrating because the music is so great.
Nightmare
There was a very clear limit to how far an 8-bit game could go, so. I can only disagree here when it comes to certain games (especially on Gameboy), but yeah, my repertoire of good 8-bit games is certainly much smaller than that of good 16-bit games. 8-bit music has a retro feel to it, but it isn't something I can usually put in my playlist. The only 8-bit soundtrack I actually listen to is Belmont's Revenge. Outside that though...
