My mother neglected to mention that both my dad and her scheduled her to sleep over at her friend's house because her entire family was gone this weekend, and neither of them felt safe leaving such an old lady behind in the house by herself. And my dad, even though he's not answering his cellphone, according to my mom, he's probably lost track of time at the casino with his penny games. Which is fine and dandy, but both of them worried the hell out of me by not telling me what was going on. They're BOTH getting a hell of a freaking complaint when they get home. ...for goodness sake, they took away my time with her.
