* shrug * I'm assuming you have translated books or something...

How would I learn English from translated books

Oh, okay. I'm pretty terrible at conversations too, which is why I tend to lurk a lot...

It's okay Kon

It's the internet, most people here are like that

No! That's the snarky kind of please, that's why I put that scoffing onomatopoeia in front of it!

Fine, I'll go retrieve it.

... As soon as I finish chapter 2, yes, I will.

I'm afraid my snark overrode yours, young maiden

ok

Something tells me you've just started it

XD

Well, it doesn't benefit me any. I don't have any sort of attraction to women.

Shit taste confirmed Edited by OldMan

I'm afraid it's kinda defective ;_; I might have damaged its reader when I thought an issue it had was bigger than it actually was and fiddled too much with it

It was pretty unstable the last time I played Segagaga

(Which really sucked, since that game involved time management and long dungeon treks without saving)

I still should at least try playing Lodoss on it

elder the end...you must do all you can for your precious dreamcast!!

I really wish they had developed a DC emulator beyond alpha stage, though

What there is no Dreamcast Emulator yet?

There are some... but their development stopped very early. So they're full of bugs...

 I mean things like an portugese to english dictionary or something.

I lived off my french to english dictionary and verb book.

That's obvious

You can't even properly learn your own mother language without a dictionary, after all

Who needs emulators when you have the real thing.

Because the "real thing" can break? Edited by OldMan

Here have some UKISS -- English, Spanish, and Korean (one of my favorite songs, but not my all time favorite)

Interesting, hahaha XD

I am intrigued by this (you learning English from D&D). How old were you? Do you only speak Portuguese and English?

Interesting, hahaha XD

I have plenty more, but I think people would kill me if I spam k-pop in this thread. But one more...

Have some Nu'Est

I know, I just feel really weird trying to talk to people at random...

O: don't lurk, let us know you're here! but...just don't be annoying attention whore like boney ^^;

But I'm terrible at not lurking. ;-; The fact that I can be slow replying to people doesn't help either...

12-16 years old

... did you miss the part about me translating Japanese

I know, I just feel really weird trying to talk to people at random...

I don't like that either

And therefore, I just stay here

We were all strangers at some point in here

Of course

But a context in common usually eases that issue

And you're nearly 30 now...

._. that actually slipped my mind for a second there, right right...so you're trilingual.

Your point being...?

Since my Spanish knowledge is only enough for reading things slowly, yes

Nothing, just curious. Everyone says learning a language is easier when young and all that.

Very cool ^_^. I'm still curious about how your spoken english would sound

I know~ but I don't think I can live here like you can...

slow replying is SO much better than not replying at all =]

talk to me. did you have a fun weekend? XD

I guess it is, but it makes me feel bad for some reason...

And my weekend was pretty good, even though all I really did was hang out at my sister's apartment and play Animal Crossing with her.
