SHITTY SHINY CHAINING METHOD GO Actually, you can. This is what I'd recommend: First, catch a female Ralts in the wild with a Heal Ball. All its babies will now be in Heal Balls. Now, start breeding it with Ditto from Friend Safari for good IVs using Destiny Knot and Everstone (for nature). After that, get a foreign male Ralts from the GTS (make sure it has good IVs, too). After which, you can use the Masuda Method to get guaranteed powerful Ralts. And a higher shiny rate. Also, since they're in the same egg group, same species, and different OTs, they'll be pumping out eggs like crazy. That said, don't hatch the eggs. Just keep on getting them. Build them up. 5-10 boxes is ideal. It'd be easy, since you're not hatching them. There's a way to check whether they're shiny or not without hatching them. On top of that, MM-ing has improved in gen VI, giving you about a 1 in 600 chance of getting a shiny. Much, much better than 1 in 8000. I can give you specific instructions and details in a PM, if you want. ALSO, I JUST GOT SHINY GHASTLY!!! (AFTER OVER 600-700 EGGS!!!) Both it and my Goomy are shiny and usable in competitive battle.
