That's just...wow. I almost shed manly tears for him, he wanted to see his son. And he seemed like a good man. ;__; But I really love the Lagon, especially Dodok (whoda thunk it? I like the big strong brave warrior guy). Holy shit though, I didn't expect someone to ACTUALLY be a match for Guin. That was wonderful. Though the second time Guin beat him was kinda weird. Man though, I didn't expect Amnelis to fall in love with Norisse. Things are getting good. Yeah, the old man was pretty cool. It felt pretty bad considering Istvan had to do the dirty job. ...It really was. I'm pretty sure Guin was actually losing. But then he won. The first fight was weird too. Well I guess Guin lifted him up and could have made the decisive throw, or something, but yeah it still felt weird. Also, I noticed a few things...Norisse's manipulative nature and looks remind me a lot of Sephiran. And the plains people remind me of the plain guys in FE. Inspiration? I'll just blame the anime though. And I should really buy the few books that were released to find out... Guin Saga is basically Japan's LotR. I read a few pages of the manga just to see what it's like, since it seemed to be based on an Iranian legend (at least, if we go by the name).
