Grass types always were terrible and difficult to use effectively, but with them giving status problems/health absorbant makes them worthwhile to use. Treeko is almost always my Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald starter of choice. Sceptile -Safeguard -Body Slam/Toxic -Dragonbreath/Protect -Giga Drain Grass types are my favorite and they are so easy to raise. ^.^ i actually like grass types to, heck turtswig was the first pokemon i ever chose, but sceptile just in my opinion had a pretty horrible moveset and it was more of a speed based pokemon, leaf blade i felt was one of the few good moves it learned for the main story, It has tons of weaknesses for main story, the problem is that swampert gets raped by sceptile though.
