Thor Odinson
My high school didn't make us take it (just normal chem which I was very good at) and my major is very much inorganic science

Thor Odinson
I won't be doing that anyway I'll let computer scientists who don't suck horribly at anything related to bio handle that //does horribly in bio ;~; last time I took bio was 9th grade and if I can't do well in 9th grade bio like hell can I do well in harder bio Edited April 3, 2014 by Thor Odinson
Balcerzak
My last biology class was in 10th grade too (first year of high school).
Aquakat
*biology and psychology major* That said... I think I was in 11th when I took AP Bio, and that was the last bio class I technically took. Everything else was classified under different things like EPID or GENE.
Thor Odinson
Think 9th grade bio was just too much memorisation that doesn't have to do with math My memory is pretty good when it's math but not so much terms I don't know why I'm good at languages
Balcerzak
What's funny, is my biology class wasn't even AP Biology, but I passed the AP Biology exam anyway and got free (unnecessary) college credit for it. \o/ Also, I'm sorry for doing your discipline a disservice by not actually giving it a fair shot, but my HS teacher didn't do anything to make the field seem worth my while. Thor Odinson
My Bio teacher was actually excellent I just lack aptitude for the subject matter It's like English I've had many great English teachers I still suck miserably at it I don't know why I took AP
Sunwoo
I've hated biology since we had to dissect stuff in the 9th grade. Even if I've never actually ever dissected anything since, fuck bio ._. Edited April 3, 2014 by Sangyul
Aquakat
Think 9th grade bio was just too much memorisation that doesn't have to do with math My memory is pretty good when it's math but not so much terms I don't know why I'm good at languages I don't know. I found a lot of languages pretty... well, logical? There were a lot of patterns and it was recognizing the patterns and what they meant. Which is how I tended to view math. Huh? Are you kidding? I almost dropped Biology because of stupid chemistry. I had to take non-chemistry classes to remind myself why I liked it. Thor Odinson
No the logical part I get, easysauce, conjugation etc isn't what I'm referring to but how the fuck do I manage to memorise all those words Edited April 3, 2014 by Thor Odinson

I never figured out how I memorized the words myself.

Fruity Insanity
LANGUAGES ARE FUN. BIOLOGY IS FUN. ALL (NON-MATH-HEAVY) SCIENCES ARE FUN. THIS IS FACT, NOT OPINION. Okay, I'm done.

Fruity Insanity
BUT I SCREWED OVER AP CALCULUS. LIKE, I GET EVERYTHING AND GOT AN A ON THE COURSE. But the test... I screwed up. So much. ;~; And ever since I disliked math. Actually, scratch that. I love math up to pre-calc. Basic calc is okay, too. But screw anything higher than that. Thor Odinson
Sorry to hear that Calc was basically my life and soul It was the reason I pursued a second major in applied math Which I'll be p much done with when this semester's over due to all the overlap with CS lol Edited April 3, 2014 by Thor Odinson

Fruity Insanity
Meh, it's fine. My younger brother is the math-y guy, anyway. I like other sciences and liberal arts.
Thor Odinson
Are you another version of NTG? No I'm a programmer mainly I think she does more math than I do these days Most of the math I do outside of statistics are programming-related If things goes well I'll have a masters in Compsci in 2 and bachelors in both CS and AppMath in 1 Edited April 3, 2014 by Thor Odinson
Fruity Insanity
Ooooooh. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I get it, TE. "Sora no Kiseki - EVOLUTION" "Kiseki no shinka ga ima, sora e." "The evolution of trails is now. To the sky" That's neat. H-hey, I just didn't drop by esterior.net that day, okay? And I didn't bother too much with the front page; I was looking at the characters. EDIT: But seriously, how did I miss that? It seems so painfully obvious now. :< EDIT 2: Also, browsing Japanese sites for (good quality) OSTs that won't come up in English searches is such a pain. Of course, there's an easier way to do it, but screw paying money. EDIT 3: And I can't believe I understand a significant portion of this song. And by significant, I mean like a third.
