I'm so annoyed at this classroom setup

so like, it's a wide-ass room

which means if I sit close I won't be able to see farther ends of the board

and if i sit far away tall people get in my way

there's no way to win

done that once

never again

can't see half the board as opposed to about 1/10th of the board

terrible tradeoff

Sounds extra worse. Then again it can't be as bad as being in an auditorium sized room where the math professor uses the smallest hand writing known to man.

For some reason.

You know why Mulan went off to war in the original story

So her aging father doesn't have to go

Yes disney added an identity part to the story as well but that part was still shown in the movie

Mulan did it to save her dad's life

It was not just about societal expectations, I don't think she'd have gone weren't for her dad being drafted

I know, I was just kidding.

What Mulan did really was brave and heroic, more manly than many men.

If that was what Mulan was really about, I wouldn't have like it. Unlike a lot of the other female Disney protagonists (like Jasmine and Ariel), Mulan's not rebellious at all. She WANTS to be the woman that her society tells her she should be … she just really stinks at it. (And honestly, rebellious teenagers don't make sense with the setting of many Disney movies.) And she goes to war so her father doesn't have to fight, which is a lot more admirable than running away because you had a spat with your father.

Apparently the King of Fire Emblem is trying to assemble a team of superheroes to stop the SF hate on 4chan.

Huh?
