I'm actually on my way back to work now :o I just hope I won't have to work on Saturday so I can have a three day weekend ;u; I've only been able to breed a shiny exactly once, with all my other shines (at least on XY) came from the Instacheck back when it was actually usable :v Congrats on the 6IV! It depends on the Pokemon. If you want a mixed attacker, like - say - Tyranitar or Salamence, 6IVs is fantastic. If you want 0IVs for something, like Aegislash's speed or Special Lucario's attack, then yeah, 0IVs is probably better.
