NoNameAtAll Posted June 13, 2009 Share Posted June 13, 2009 I think Wendell is a bit overrated, as well.His doubling starts to stop around Chapter 10, unless he somehow gained 10 levels in 4 chapters. That's 4 chapters of being pretty awesome, then a few of being good filler, then the rest are lol. Overrated would be High Tier. Upper Mid sounds about right. Early game utility is important. After Merric, you have these choices: - lol!Wrys. - Rena, who is only barely better than Wrys statistically, and is mostly about having early Warp and Hammerne - Gordon, whose only real merit as a healer is having some Def and HP growth while still possibly getting killed, but at least his join time is good enough to warrant using him as one, but will end up absolute garbage as a Sage. - Roshe or Matthis, who just end up being slightly better than pre-promotes and are never using staves again. He was my third healer on H5 and he was helpful kicking back and Physic Staffing. Otherwise, there isn't much special about him other than utility.
