I cheated and watched the endings on YouTube. o3o It does look good. I also read lots of good reviews/comments about it but I'm not sure if it's just fangirlism. This time the Angel is like microbes, and it infiltrates the HQ via corroding the walls. The pilots are all stuck inside and can't help, so it's down to the others to defeat the Angel. The Angel was seriously creepy, it could evolve very quickly and overcome its weaknesses. It hacked into their mainframe and even took over 2/3 of the Magi. So it turns out the 3 Magi represent different sides of Ritsuko's mother. Apparently this technology is similar to Eva technology. Seriously, what the heck are the Angels. A lot of this episode made me think of that Artificial Intelligence article. ASI which can self-improve. Uploading people's personalities into a computer.
