To refrain from sounding heartless by focusing on other topics, I'll spoiler them. Just don't go making a blog dedicated to ranting about the "theft", having hotlinks redirect to gay porn sites and stalking the perpetrator on their facebook and you'll be safe from being "the same as that guy". What the hell. But regarding that kind of thing, it appears I'm not the first one they did it to. I've gotten responses that they did the same thing to Xenoblade fans. I must either obtain a Marth amiibo or the TCG card pack to unlock Marth in if. The rest don't really matter. Marth is my favorite FE lord, anyway. That Marth battle music remix. The increasing similarities to dating sims and aesthetics are rather off-putting to me . The community will basically be divided into 2 main groups, one that is "veterans" of the series complaining about how they don't like the new direction FE is taking and newcomers that are more invested in the aforementioned aspects I don't care for. Neither side is one that I wish to have anything to do with (despite the fact that most people would attribute me on the side of the "veterans"). Like with all Fire Emblems, there isn't much to do other than the single player and I suspect this one will suffer with a weaker single player campaign than what you usually see since they're focusing on appealing to a broader audience and while I would be in it for the gameplay, the aesthetics of the game will get in the way since I would skip things like the voice overs, love conversations and imagery, etc and then if I own the game that would bring the question: Why did I pay full price for this when I'm skipping 80% of the game's content? Thus, a rental seems like the best thing to do. I'll play Fire Emblem and ignore Rune Factory without having to purchase the game.
