Santino
I wish more games had the Chrono Cross version of leveling, where it was impossible to grind beyond a couple of hp : /
Rodykitty
Did you not read my last few posts? Grinding is in no way a problem in FF4DS. You should never have to grind, ever, even if you are short on buying equipment.
Rei Rei
They were easier than I expected. Take one out, and suddenly the whole group of them is unable to function at a viable level. And that's why the battle was freakin hard. You have 33% chance of winning, that is taking down the right sister first. It was the fatty, iirc
Rodykitty
Actually I think I took out either the skinny or small one first. Basically whichever one was easiest to kill, and I think I made my decision based on who was taking advantage of reflect as well.

Still it was the first major problem. Then the fucking behemoths. Ashura+Leviathan were asses as well.

I'm just saying that I like the Chrono Cross version of leveling more than anything I've seen in another rpg with leveling. I kinda doubt in what you're saying though I haven't played the game so I can't argue.

They'll only revive after a certain amount of time. By then, you'll have weakened the fatty after killing one or both of them off, so you'll be in a groove, so even if Fatty revives, you'll then kill fatty and then can easily kill the other two again. It helps that the boss right after is extremely easy, albiet tedious. Dat Nick
I'm just saying that I like the Chrono Cross version of leveling more than anything I've seen in another rpg with leveling. Ironically, I hated Chrono Cross, partially because of it's levelling system.

Santino
I gotta play FF7 soon to see what all the praise is about. Ironically, I hated Chrono Cross, partially because of it's levelling system. : (

The only thing that exists in this world is FF7 hate. It was Barbariccia, right?Yeah. All you have to do is have Kain jump, everyone else defends. All you have to do is have Kain jump, everyone else defends. Not reaaally, Chainey. There are still a huge concentration of FF7 fanboys. It's called GFaqs. And it's praise comes from the fact that it was the first FF that most ppl played, I guess. Oh well. Barbariccia was the one that I liked the least. The big finale of the gfaqs best game ever polls this year was FF7 vs Zelda5 : / Though I don't remember who won And it's praise comes from the fact that it was the first FF that most ppl played, I guess. May very well be. I still gotta play it though. A friend gave it a playthrough and said it was awful : /
Rei Rei
FF7 nor is awful, nor ZOMGTHEBESTEVAH It's quite solid, indeed, but that's it.
Rodykitty
FF7 isn't awful either. It's not amazing, certainly not as good as Chrono Trigger and the like, but it's still a good game. I would say it's well rounded in all of its areas, above average overall, but nothing it does is as good as a top quality RPG or an RPG that specializes in one of its aspects. Rodykitty
Tetris is the best game of all time*, it just never won a poll. So that settles that too. *Actually, Lumines is, but you get my point.
