I became suspicious when Lady Rahna told Sigurd about the mysterious Narga descendant. In chapter 2, when Manfroy took Deirdre, he also erased her memory. He mentioned something about a husband. Suddenly, the mysterious descendant of Narga shows up, and is to be wed to Alvis... That mysterious descendant... Must be Deirdre! It all fits!
