You'd be surprised. In Hell I get uniques every 5-10 minutes and I don't only run bosses. I barely even have magic find too. I don't think I even got a non-quest unique item in my regular Diablo 2 playthrough, after all. Still in Normal no less. Wait until you can teleport and have AoE attacks.
