I could never get used to the stick grenades for the Demoman. I've only played TF2 once, but I was best as the Soldier when I played. Soldier is the easiest class to pick up. It's exactly the same as it was in Team Fortress Classic where it was gimped to have actual gameplay mechanics to its approach. And it's still the best weapon in the game.
