TheEnd
I don't know about anyone else, but I always thought magic was kind of lame in Fire Emblem. Except in Gaiden. Magic was kind of fun in that game. It fucking is. Magic shouldn't be treated like any other weapon. Watch at 2:00. This is what magic should be like. That Magic is fucking broken. >_> You can only use it on turn 1, then multiples of 5. Still, spells should be treated differently. I'd say negate the actual Magic stat ( or make it like a Wlv restricted to magic only ) and have most spells deal AoE, but that's just me. Promotion grants a boost in damage/range or whatever. Shining Force Sounds like it's going to be on my to do list. I should play Shining Force 3 someday... damn Saturn.

Altera the Hun
Lyre CAN be useful, and so can Fiona. People just don't want to bother spending BXP on Lyre/taking the extra turns moving Fiona because she's in a game that hates mounted units. You don't level generic laguz or underleveled units in RD. It's simply not worth the trouble. DH loved Fiona. Lyre CAN be useful, and so can Fiona. People just don't want to bother spending BXP on Lyre/taking the extra turns moving Fiona because she's in a game that hates mounted units. Fiona has 70% hit rates with a forged Iron Lance on Easy Mode enemies in her join chapter. She does not double. She does single digit damage. She disappears for 1-8. Taking the extra turns to move her is the last thing we care about.
