I hate about 60% of my "friends", if you can even call those bastards that. They don't even know I hate them.

Oh my.

It's their fault, I've always tried to be nice to them, but after four years my fuse is nearing it's end

I would've ditched them ages ago if I were you.

Easier said than done.

More than half of my friends are in my class, so I see them nearly every day.

Those outside of school are mainly those who I don't hate.

Changing schools is not an option

I've tried that.

Failed miserably.

I try to accept them, but I guess it's just because our personalities differ so much that I fail, I sometimes think that I'd get along with you guys much better in real life than most of those who I actually know in real life.

I'm really looking forward to my last year, as I'm moving to London to study after I finish highschool

What really annoys me is that I meet all these cool guys on the net but they don't exist in real life.

I know how you feel.

Why DO you hate them anyway?

Mainly for the fact that as a small kid they made my life hell, they make fun of me because I'm play lots of videogames and not into the same things as they are(music, the type of games I play, heck even things like soccer apply), the fact that they always want to do better than me whenever I'm good at something, that they start making stupid noises whenever anyone asks a question in class... *goes off into rant* ...and the fact that they think they're cool because they had lots of girlfriends, (or at least try to act like it, they don't really convince me) which only applies to some, but still, it's not a thing that I think you should show off about, I've always been cold about that for private reasons.

There are some more reasons, but this gives a general idea

I'm like a bomb that's about to explode.

You're a fool for trying to be friends with them.

You're far above their level.

Ignore them.

Sigh, I know...though telling them that they irritate me or that I hate them will make them laugh at me more, I've tried before. Though that was 3 years ago...I guess I'm just too much of a chicken...

Thanks.

I need to try that once more...

Thing is: I'm not a really a nerd, I don't fit the...well, archetype, they picked me because I'm really different from them, and most just seem to laugh at anything. One of them laughed when his grandfather died for God's sake, talk about having respect. Luckily he left last year.

That's enough for me.

Regardless, they're most likely nocive influences in your life, and you probably won't need to ever again see their faces after you finish high school. Trying to compromise could be a serious mistake, so you should keep your distance from them, as Seph said.

In cases like these the choice is simple: Do you want to become what they want you to be or do you want friends that actually like you? If your choice is the latter, don't bother with these people.

So playing lots of videogames makes you a nerd? And I meant that they laugh at me because I support a different footballclub than all the rest.

That's hard at a small school as mine. But as I plan to study in London, I'll be rid of them and I don't plan to keep contact with any of them but one.

Yet another signal that you shouldn't be dealing with them, really.

That's hard at a small school as mine. But as I plan to study in London, I'll be rid of them and I don't plan to keep contact with any of them but one.

Just remember that there isn't much to gain from getting along with that kind of trash. Athough I know how hard being lonely can be.

I didn't have internet access, however.

So playing lots of videogames makes you a nerd?

According to them it does.

I should really stop caring about what they think, shouldn't I?

I forgot to mention the fact that I collect Hentai.

Not a day goes by without one of them saying "Real porn? Ever heard of that?"

"Real porn" is ugly.

As is most hentai, but hey.

In my situation, I was something like what Enjolras described himself to be, and I never got any shit for it. I was never actually lonely.

And pretty much everyone around me knew I loved video games.

Maybe because we're all "losers" here. The internet is our haven.

At least hentai can be called "art"

Anything can be called "art." Ask Fia.

never thought of it that way...
