Comparing works like Higurashi and Baccano! to sacks of shit like Naruto and BLEACH is an outright blasphemy. You noticed Marthur's sig after a month? I never paid attention to who originally said it until a few minutes ago. I always knew Marthur was a raging heretic. Rei Rei, on the other hand... HnK and LoGH still are out of their leagues, being better than Naruto(that isn't quite as bad as they say) and Bleach. Overall, Higurashi's actual story is arguably better than HnK. Then again, HnK does have a pretty insanely basic storyline. The art is more generic in Higurashi, but considering it's based on a Visual Novel known for its dough hands syndrome, it's not too bad. Umineko's anime, on the other hand, wasn't compressed as well, and got hit with Adaption Decay pretty hard. Too much stuff was left out. It doesn't stop it from being a pretty good anime in its own right, though. I need to finish watching Baccano...
