So if you use winamp you have to download a plugin for winamp, if you use windows media player you have to download a plugin for windows media player. Are you actually playing the songs, or are you just pressing the "Add to library" option? If you're doing the former and they're still not showing up, then you probably don't have scrobbling enabled. All I remember is that when I made an account it gave me a plugin, and when I played music on my computer it popped up on the site. I don't really get your question.
