The goodness of a work is often subjective: anime is no exception. Anywho, I planned to look into that since you suggested it. I just didn't say so. Consider Naruto, which has a ridiculously huge fanbase made up of people that think it's good and yet even YOU know it sucks. I've never recommended Nanoha with a straight face, and I'm not about to start doing it. I liked it though. But. Lucky Star is probably targetted towards the same demographics. I just don't like it when people say "it sucks, you'll hate it," and things of that nature. They're basically jumping the gun on what someone's opinion will be, and since there's exceptions to every rule, it's not completely accurate. If someone said "I wouldn't recommend it," that's a different story. What I also hate is when people are scorned for liking something that is considered bad by the general public.
