Chalis
I always did hate spriting with Purple. Purple is a really loud color. :(

Balcerzak
So the linked version worked? I'm glad. What are the advantages of Paint.net over, say, the GIMP?
Chalis
So the linked version worked? I'm glad. What are the advantages of Paint.net over, say, the GIMP? I've only ever used GIMP once and found it... a really long waste of time opening it up and then being confused by the controls. Paint.net is pretty straightforward after a little exploring. I use it for transparencies, measuring, and addons. I've found ColorCounter better as an application though. MS Paint + Paint.net = <3 Oh. And I ended up fixing it with CHKDSK and adding "/disableDirectWrite" to Target on the shortcut. I still don't know why it was acting up, but I'm glad it's working again~ Edited May 2, 2010 by Reverse Trap
Parrhesia
[spoiler=Massive Non-Sequiter] The thing that annoys me about GIMP is having to click too many times just to switch from toolbar to image. It's arright, I guess. And anything with layers beats MS Paint. Edited May 2, 2010 by Trompe le Monde

Lux Aeterna
16 is the color limit. If you're not putting it in a game and you feel like making your character really colorful then you can bend the rules and give it as many as you want.
