The final boss of Julius mode also changes (it's different than the final boss of Soma mode). Multi-hit Axe attacks generally work well on tall enemies. Right. What I find annoying about Death is the double scythe swing in the first form (Persephone sucks up the sickles, and the beams have enough delay to evade easily), especially when I'm cornered, which means that I'm most likely getting hit. Or you could just turn into a bat as Alucard and wait until the attack ends (or even superjump if that can keep you from getting hit). Also, I tend to spam Yoko's ice spell often in Julius mode.
