You can: 1. use more units up that area, who can move in and put space between the hunter and Shiida. 2. Wait until the units move farther down and divide and conquer. 3. Not put her in the way of the Hunter... Honestly, this is so simply solved by just thinking before you do things, you're never forced to put Shiida in any of their ranges, you just need to work more strategically.
