RPG Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 I'm a total amateur at this, but I thought that it would be fun to make GBA face sprites for FE 1/3/SD characters (I'm using the Shadow Dragon versions). First up is Julian. I failed at the shading and his shoulder and eye look messed up, but at least he's recognizable (I hope). Next is Est. Her hair looks a bit too thin and stringy in my opinion, but I couldn't really find a better one without screwing it up. I tried to replicate the designs on her armor, but that didn't work out to well. Her eyes look kind of brown, but if you zoom in, they're pinkish. deleted35362 Posted July 23, 2009 Share Posted July 23, 2009 Rather than just pop in and say not to use JPG formats for sprites and then never post again, I'll be the one to actually critique something. Est's close pad is bent down and the trim on it is not shaded right. The pad has NO shading, The eyebrow is too solid and uneven, you have two different border colors on one mug, and the trim is a dark-brown doo-doo color for some reason.
