luigi bros
I'm trying to find a program that can build sprites for a game I'm making. I can't find any working programs though so I thought I'd ask here. Please don't tell me it's against the rules to ask for this.
Yuli
What do you mean by "building" sprites? Like it magically generates a sprite for you?
Celice
MSPaint and the like can allow you to draw sprites. If you are geared for more like animated image sprites--the kinda stuff you see in more modern games--, photoshop and the like are what will likely be better. You can also use generic graphic editors created for ROMs. YY-CHR is popular for enthusiasts.

I meant a program that will allow me to make sprites. Is there one that I can download for free of the Internet?

Assuming you have Windows of course. ^_^ If you have a mac, Painbrush is your best option.

Yuli
You have a Windows computer, but no MSPaint? It should come with it.
luigi bros
I have a very recent Windows laptop. Could it have been replaced and upgraded?
Yuli
Well, does your laptop have any programs that you can scribble things on?
luigi bros
I don't know. I'm new to do these Microsoft programs. I have so many. I think I'll try the differant programs tomorrow.
ShinKuma
If you don't have paint use Paint.net. It works well enough.
