If you get hit or use a bomb while the boss has her spell card activated, you will not get the bonus. And you died on Easy Icicle Fall? You'll get better. So if you pick a girl with a short skirt you have a smaller hit box and thus an easier time playing the game. Why do you guys like playing Tohou so much? The fighters are only hard because they are purely in Japanese, some of the shooters have at least been translated.
