In Nights of Azure, Fiends are objects, animals, or people that have been hit by the Blue Blood of the Nightlord that rained upon the world after his defeat at the hands of the first Saint. Some Fiends retain their sentience and are opposed with the world getting plunged into an Eternal Night. Some of these kinds of Fiends become Servans of their own free will (as depicted in NoA2) or just try to live their lives peacefully.Demons are those born with Blue Blood. They come from the Land of Eternal Night, embody nature in and of itself, and the Nightlord, as the very embodiment of Night, is their leader.Half-demons are humans who came into contact with the Blue Blood, but have retained their humanity, such as Arnice. In Nights of Azure 2, artificially created half-demons exist, such as Aluche (who was resurrected this way) and Veruschka (who was made one through forceful, brutal experimentation).
