There is no such thing as an "End" for the universe. They consider the "End" as the destruction of Earth, but even if every celestial body were to perish...the everything will still be there, that emptiness. No, scientific theory suggests that the universe will literally rip itself to shreds by its ever-accelerating expansion, leading to the so called Big-Rip end to everything. Well, I'm merely pointing a theory supported by scientific evidence, though looking back, I did imply (incorrectly) that it was the only one.
