Fayt Zelpher
The ad above told me to Visit Israel. But, you do know the ads are generated by keywords on the page, right? I figured as much. In other words, when you rail against something, you end up getting ads that support that same thing. Ironic, but true... Also, for some reason, I get a lot of foreign language ads. Does anyone else run into ads from a different language than that which is common in your country? Hero
Bringing the discussion back a bit, the use of BCE and CE isn't based on a rejection of religion at all. The abbreviations were created by Christians centuries ago and were adopted by religious non-Christians who felt uncomfortable writing Anno Domini ("in the year of our lord") with reference to Christ long before militant or even public atheism became fashionable in the US and Europe. No, it's just for a different reason than using Common Era notation ;) Besides, hating any of you would mean instant death. Fayt Zelpher
Don't mess with insects. I'll take that under consideration when they start squishing me. In other words, after WW3 and the global nuclear war.

Rei
No, I mean BCE. It's a stand-in for BC, yes. The equivalent of AD is CE (Common Era). This is correct No, I mean BCE. It's a stand-in for BC, yes. The equivalent of AD is CE (Common Era). Except that it's BC/AD, not your stupid version. This is wrong.
