It seems to be a meme where characters of different hair color a chosen, and an equal amount of different hairstyles. Then using that funny tree-branching decision making system the Japanese seem fond of, the characters are paired up with a hair style and then drawn that way. Now my kanji recognition is sub-par, but as far as I can make out the hair styles are as follows. Karel: 三つ編み -> 3 Braids Athos: ぽ二テ -> Ponytail Wil: ショート -> Short Louise: ボブ -> Bob Pent: いつもの -> Usual Canas: ウェービ or 天パ(?) -> "Wavy" or (?) Eliwood: ベリーショート -> Very Short Hector: 部分長髮 (?) -> Partial length hair(?) Lyn: ロング -> Long Serra: オールバック or ツインテ -> "All back" or "Twin Tail" As far as Wil goes... He seems to be complaining. 「俺、元々ショートなんですけどねー」 -> "My hair is originally short." At least, this is what I can make out of things... I didn't bother trying to understand the exact dialogue here, because the story seems mostly self evident, but I could try to work it out in detail if it's really needed, I suppose.
