Colbert is almost always funny, but Stewart more and more these days doesn't make anything more with his show than petty insults and political propaganda. It's not intellectual, it's not even funny. They responded with surprise, asking me to list the instance it occurred on. Seriously, I don't think any other similar show has fans that give THAT much leeway... I saw Colbert (through the miracle that is YouTube) at...don't know the exact name of it, but it was basically a glorified party after Bush Jnr. got elected, with a horde of journalists.
