Kesmar Posted February 15, 2010 Share Posted February 15, 2010 I have a question about breeding in regards to moves Pokémon can only learn through breeding. When you breed two Pokémon together in order to get a certain move, if you bred the right Pokémon are you 100% guaranteed the Pokémon will hatch knowing that move, or is there a certain percent chance that it will have that move? Sentret/Furret for example (because I love ferrets). It can learn the move double edge if it's father was a Rattata. Will the Sentret that hatches from the egg know Double Edge 100% of the time, or does it only know it a percent of the time? I have never bothered with breeding to get certain moves so I do not know myself, and I am wondering because it it's guaranteed to know that move I might actually start bothering with it. According to this, the father must know the move it is I want the baby to know. It was pretty helpful. Guess this can be locked now, question was answered.
