Ethereal Blast has infinitely thick 'destroys literally EVERYTHING in touches' power. So it looks like we have a draw. So you lose. No, no I meant that Ethereal Blast has its power vested in it through the plot as well. It cannot not destroy its target. No, Ethereal Blast is activated in cutscenes, but Reimu can't even die in cutscenes. She literally can't die, because that's how the universe works. No, you see, you're forgetting that Maria's power of alteration would activate, thus CHANGING the rules of the universe. That, or the entire universe would be destroyed by the paradox. But it's already been determined that the current laws of the universe don't apply by this power, which once again returns the situation to it's original position.
