Psych
So I'm playing Gaiden, and I saved both on the rom, and as a save state, I shut off my computer, and it has no record of the save. I've lost all my data and this is the second time it's happened. Does anyone know why? It's getting annoying. The first time I was at Chapter 4, and this time I spammed the caves to level everyone enough to beat Dozer and get the shield, which I did. I don't want to go though the whole game again and lose the data.
Dr. Tarrasque
What patch are you using?
Psych
The Artemis one I think. It might have been the same one you were using.
Dr. Tarrasque
Does it say New Game at the top or "Begin"? Also, consider switching to a different emulator.
Psych
New Game and VirtuaNES. It won't work on my Super NES emulator. I guess I'll look for another one.
Dr. Tarrasque
New Game and VirtuaNES. It won't work on my Super NES emulator. I guess I'll look for another one. The patch is good then. The one I started with had some glitches like the game freezing when using Ryuto. fceux is what I'm using and it's worked pretty well so far. Psych
Is that the emulator's name? I didn't have that glitch. (But I like how I can reload my save until they hit the enemy)

Mine's version is 2.1.4 Yeah you're using the patch I updated to which seems to be perfect so far. Edited July 9, 2010 by Sirius
Biabarr
The patch is good then. The one I started with had some glitches like the game freezing when using Ryuto. I use that patch, but I still have the glitches with Ryuto....
Dr. Tarrasque
I use that patch, but I still have the glitches with Ryuto.... Hmm, here's how I got past this issue, see if it works for you. First backup your Gaiden save. Then, get a clean Gaiden ROM and download the 1.01 patch here and apply the one named "FEG_Jap_to_251_1.01" Copy the save backup, place it in the save folder (if your emulator has any) and rename it to be the same as the newly patched ROM.
