Serenes YVD Tournament

Hello guys, just to make this a bit formal already.

We will be holding a Yugioh tournament in YVD. It will start next week, September the 20th.

What can you expect?

Quite a lot of fun by dueling and the chance to call yourself Serenes Best Duelist if you win the tournament.

Well, here we will make the sign ups, I'll be modifying this post with the competitors data. We will also manage the duels in here (that means you guys must get the duel log and post it in a spoiler tag for the next rounds).

How to sing up?

Post your timezone (since we're all scattered aroudn the world) and your IP in YVD.

Rules:

• A single deck per duelist; this means you get to use only a Main Deck along a Side Deck and an Extra Deck during the entire tournament. Changing cards from the Main Deck and Side Deck is allowed during the tournament, but only that.
• EDIT: Duels will be conducted as a Match, the best of three wins. During the match, both duelists have the right to replace cards between Main and Side Decks.
• EDIT: Max amount of cards: 60, the limit up to now.
• There will be a timeline of at least two days for both duelists to agree on a date and duel each other (this rule is not ready yet, since there are not too many contestants and I would like it to be fair for everyone).
• Advanced Format. I'm sure nobody has problems with this one, since most tournaments have this rule. YVD gives you a list of the advanced format, so there should be no problem with it.
• If anyone breaks any of this rules during the tournament, the duelist will be expelled from the tournament.

I hope more people join the tournament. If anything is changed at last minute, I will update this topic immediately for everyone to be ready.

Also, you should just make the limit of decks to 60. Some people like extra cards in their deck. Not me however.

Well, we're just us by the look of things.

Tournament is up and ready.

Seeing we have only three duelists in the tourney, it would seem wise to decide who will rest while the other two duel (that is, if you want to run this already or we could wait for some people more if you want).

Or we could simply duel between us. The one that gets the more victories wins. As simple as that.

Also, I think I'll change the timeline to three days for duelists to agree on a date.

-As soon as the duel register is set, the next duel can take place.

Game 1

-eclipse swarmed the field, 3x Sapphire Pegasus, 1 Ruby Carbuncle and I think 1 Amber Mamooth

-I managed to summon Cyber End Dragon with Future Fusion

-eclipse used Black Hole

-activated Sword of Revealing Light in the hope to draw something decent

-Crystal Abundance

Game 2

-managed to summon a Chimeratech Fortress Dragon and used eclipse's Magical Android as material monster (Att 3000)

-the game was kinda one-sided from there on as eclipse didn't draw the right cards and I negated the only possible counter with Solemn Warning

-used Call of the Haunted to special summon Cyber Dragon Zwei and end the game

Sorry again about the missing logs from Games 1 and 2, I hope I didn't forget anything important in the summaries.

Light Lord and IntegerZero, look into your pms for info about connection problems if you have any.

Well, it seems next one is Integer versus me.

Also, as a little bonus we will have another duel for the third place.

This one will take place as soon as the players decide when to have it.

Well, things got out of hand (with me, I mean).

Integer, I'm sorry I couldn't arrive on time. Since the rules I posted say it, you're officially the winner. This leaves the next duel set, you get in touch with Kaoz for the duel.

As things go in college for me, I am forced to leave the tourney. Sorry guys, I stick around as a referee (kind of).
