This tourney will be for 8 or 16 people, and it will go like this. 8 people: -2 groups of 4 -Winner of A faces Second place of B, and vice versa -Winners face off in final 16 people: -4 groups of 4 -Winners of A faces 2nd place of B (Winner E) -Winners of C faces 2nd place of D (Winner F) -Winners of B faces 2nd place of A (Winner G) -Winners of D faces 2nd place of C (Winner H) -Winner E vs Winner F, Winner G versus Winner H -Semi-finals -Finals Now, what will the matches be like? -Best of 5, one LC match, one NU match, one UU match, one OU match, one Ubers match -Each player PMs me a list of 16 pokemon before each match. -If the 2 players decide who drafts first for LC, then good. If they can't, I decide. -Loser of the previous match chooses when to draft for the next match -Drafting order will be as such: 1 2 2 1 1 2 2 1 1 2 2 1 1 ... etc. Other rules: -Post logs of your matches. This helps me know who won the match. Anyone who fakes logs will be immediately kicked out of the tourney. -HAVE FUN! The main point is for you guys to have fun and for me to get better ideas on teams. If I can somehow get 32 people to join, it'll be done World Cup style. PARTICIPANTS: Dio Sho. Also, with 8 players, here are the groups! GROUP A Proto Joey ALS Sho.M GROUP B Dio IntegerZero Sirius Chalis Also, changed the drafting styles to a snake draft. Between Proto and Joey, if either of you choose to draft first, go ahead. If you want to draft second, let me know. If BOTH of you want to draft first/second, pray to the RNG you get your choice. After all, there will only be three rounds so it's not like five battles is gonna be too much. 15 battles for an entire tournament is not bad at all. Matches will be in this order then.
