I'm going to have to play through Classic mode once to unlock Marth, but other than that, with a bit of practice to get into it, I should be fine to play online. The two ladders work like this: All entrants effectively get two chances. Whoever reaches the top of each ladder will face eachother in the final. If the same person makes it to the top in both ladders, they automatically win the tournament. Simple. All rounds [except the Final] will have these set rules: 5 x stock lives. No time limit. No items. Any stage, but all players involved must agree on the decision before the battle begins. The Final [where both ladders connect] will have these set rules: 10 x stock lives. No time limit. No items. Battlefield stage. I plan to get this moving by Sunday the latest. Start signing up now! I'll update the sign-up list as people join. Because my folks already ordered the stuff to be installed at the house on Tuesday and the cable company I get my internet from is usually quick and reliable. So if I ain't on by Wedensday just move on Or you can start the matches either Friday or Saturday, I should be able to get on Saturday night for sure. If this thing gets rolling on a Saturday, I'll give everyone the deadline of a week to get their matches done, and if a match isn't done by the end of that saturday, I'll bye the player through who was able to battle but did not because of inactivity/unavailability of their opponent. Well, I don't see why not... Although it won't have anything to do with the tournament. I also have a number of other friends who would like to battle me who I know in real life, and another forum I sometimes post in, but since you seem to want to be the first, I'll go for it. Yeah, it's just a single match, with three lives as stock. The winner will go through to the next round. The final will be the same, but with five stock lives.
