I was just thinking, what if we took arguements of characters outside of the tier list, in an attempt to keep the priorities straighter.

Ex: every time someone proposes a change a "sub-topic" if you will, will be made.

so first up would be...Jill(t) > Gatrie, something i think should happen so im trying to, yeah

Actually, we tried this with Mekkah's new FE debating forum. It went for a bit of time but ultimately died out (and hasn't been used in months). Plus, it wouldn't be a good idea to do here unless we created a new subforum specifically for it, because otherwise we might clutter up the forum.

Though it's not a bad idea on its own.

Why bother? If we're gonna just have one thread for all tier list debating, it may as well be the same thread we keep the tier list in.

it keeps it cluttered and hard to keep track of conversation, its also very hard when multiple debates are going on.

and whats the bother, if your selected to have the authority to do this, you should be more than willing.

You'll have to ask the staff. Now might not be a good time, though, because tier list topics in general haven't been active lately.

You can't seriously be calling those actual debate topics. And certainly not of the same intent that all the topics on feg were made.

And rf is right that now would be a bad time. Activity is down. When there were 3 or 4 pages per day on multiple tier list topics with 5 or 6 arguments going on at once it may have been a good time to have a separate topic for each different character comparison. It really isn't necessary at the moment.

well, if activity does pick up again its an option, and it will certainly be easier to track everything, thats one reason i stopped posting in fe10 tier list, just to damn confusing as well as nothing got resolved. In a topic format i think we could resolve the issues instead of just talk about them and then repeat talking about them.
