Astelaine
I don't know anything about battle sprites, but Tormod looks good so far! Also, much love for bucktoothed bandit. :)
Nanami Touko
Well it is my Tormod sprite. :P And thanks. :) Hopefully more(and better) will follow! Oh, whoops XD Keep practicing! You'll get it, I know it.
Chocolate Kitty
Yes, you've started animating! You don't know how much I wanted to see that. The frames look pretty clean, keep at it :D
eCut
Yes, you've started animating! You don't know how much I wanted to see that. The frames look pretty clean, keep at it :D Glad to hear it, thanks! :D @Seph: Thanks for the optimism. :) @Astelaine: I just had to use the buckteeth! They're too funny. :)
Feaw
Oh, looking good so far =o. You should totally give him a book in his hands for more FE9ness (and for that other reason you already know =3).
eCut
I suppose I could give him a book. ;) Update: I need to make the cape go all flappy and the return sprites.
Feaw
Is it me or are the colors off during the animation? Like the inside of the cape, it's all 1 color in the sheet, but has weird dots in the animation. Other than that, it's very similar to the Pupil, but hey, it's a start. Hash Jar
Wow I love it. I love all your work :) Much love. I like how his hand moves, it's funny :_) BTW I think that's shading Feaw.
Feaw
Ehh no, it's not shading. As I said, in the sheet it's normal, and looks good, but in the animation it's all weird and ugly.
eCut
Hm... Yeah there seems to be some discoloration on the sprite due to the animation. :/ That's odd... I will have to reanimate it I guess! And thank you for the kind words Hash Jar ! :) Edited February 10, 2011 by Ecut
eCut
Fooling around a bit? :) (Erk, Ewan, Tormod.) Based on Tormod's FE10 Archsage. Full custom. Edited February 11, 2011 by Ecut

Feaw
Oh nice sprite, that makes a good one for the Scholar class, promoted Pupil, in my game. I barely need to ask, but, I can use it, right? =
eCut
Thanks Miku and Feaw!! & Of course you can. :) Edited February 11, 2011 by Ecut
Nanami Touko
Agh, so much more I wish you could animation XD Damn, dat's a fancy sprite. I think it looks better than IS's Sage OnO
eCut
Thanks Sephy. :) I like it better too... The normal Sage is way cool but the cape is crazy big. Edited February 12, 2011 by Ecut
CrushCrushCrush
I like the big cape on the original. Makes it look mystical. But but but yours looks really good and detailed! I have a question though. Is that his arm on his hip? If it is, it is very small and distracting. It's going to have to look more like an arm and less like a protrusion. eCut
To explain why it is like that I thought I would make a little collage. :) As you can see, there is fabric that hides the upper arm and shoulder. I made a quick edit to the sage in the top right corner to show you what it would like if that fabric was not there. Hope that helps you see why only the forearm is visible. :) Oh, and thanks ccc. :) Edited February 13, 2011 by Ecut
Feaw
I edited it a bit for my game, so dunno if it still looks good, so I'll just post it here; I also tried to edit a book in his right (OPV) arm, but fail'd so if you could do it sometime. Just have it a bit dark becuase it's partly under cloak and stuff. Edited February 13, 2011 by Feaw
eCut
Probably would have been more suitable for personal message but that's no biggie! I tried putting a book in his hand but the issue with books in GBA style'd sprites is lack of room. As you probably noticed when you tried yourself, GBA sprites are not very large and a book would roughly be head size so there really is very little space to have character's holding them. Colour limits also cause a bit of a problem due to making it harder for the book to be visible(depending on location). I did, however, manage to put a book under his left arm(though, it does not look that great). Edited February 13, 2011 by Ecut
Feaw
Hmm, it's barely visible, but whatever. I think I can take over from here =). And yeah sorry about posting it here hehe. EDIT: Better? It looks kinda pillowy and like a giant chewing gum, but I think it's still okay =x. Edited February 14, 2011 by Feaw

eCut
Update on mage! *Not completed* Now just to figure out how to make him return... Enjoy. :) Edited February 14, 2011 by Ecut
Feaw
I think he also needs a transition frame between the points where he lifts his hand straight up and forward. Well, I can vaguely see a transition blur, but I think it either needs to be a little slower or darker. But the cape definitely needs a transition frame as it just "warps" right now, as to speak. eCut
I guess I need to slow it down a bit because there is a full body blur transition frame between the two. :P
