Opening .jar files on Mac OSX

So yeah.

I've been trying to mess with my mac's settings for ages to get the .jar files working. Apparently, the Jar Launcher thing doesn't work with it, or so it says, and I can't seem to get it to open with the Jar Launcher Terminal commands, the latter being me not knowing much in the way of commands.

I also tried running it in eclipse but it didn't work either.

So.

Is there anyway, another program or the actual Terminal command, that I could get Nightmare and FEditor to run on my Mac side? Having to switch to my much less stable WinXP partition is a pain, and I don't have Photoshop on that side to edit my graphics.

I suppose I could give Virtualbox!Ubuntu another go, but beyond that...
