deranger
Outside of context, however, that map would make no strategic sense, not to mention that wyvern riders aren't the only units in their military. It still doesn't change the fact that the elevation difference makes it easy for archers to snipe those below. AK, that only applies to FE10 and real life. This is FE7. Get with the times. CT075
and it completely disregards the fact that any ground troops (they do exist) will be wiped out if the river floods or whatever since the cliff means that the flood will obliterate the fort

Dr.Sholes
Finally got around to not being lazy. EDIT: So I've also been working on my first FC, it's not coming out too bad sooooooo... Likes/Dislikes? Teapot
It looks like he smashed face-first into the pavement. His nose is flat, his eyes are sunken, his eyebrows are misshapen, and there's a lot of unnecessary shading going on around the sides of the face. Your map is still a bloody JPG, and random gap of clear water is random. Also some cliff/elevation issues with the river, still. Book of Ereshkigal
The nose looks too... The line seems too dark for the size of his nose.
CT075
the map has too many straight lines
Celice
I don't see too many straight lines. I see some of the paths are really "blocky" though. The actual problem, visually, is that your portrayal of heights is really f'd up. Your river suddenly flies up onto a cliffside, then plummets down magically to the same level of the paths, and then somehow proceeds in a huge dip (the cliffs with the pathways) as if the entire path was as level as a pin. Visually, those are the biggest flaws, if flaws is all anyone cares to point out. Edited March 26, 2012 by Celice
CT075
Maybe not so much straight lines, but they're super angular and kind of not-smooth. I'm referring to the cliffs around the lake in general, your cliffs tend to just follow one diagonal and not really change much. Dr.Sholes
Alright, I'll get on fixing those. Also, I should have asked this before but does the tattoo look anything like a teardrop? Because that's what it's supposed to be.
Jubby
I just figured it was an oddly colored teardrop, so I guess it must.
Dr.Sholes
He's going to be tatted head-to-toe and most are going to be black/darkly shaded. Better? Edited March 26, 2012 by Dr.Sholes
deranger
the norther clifs have too many right angles, and the two inlets look too similar.

Dr.Sholes
Plz2Bmoarmanly? That is quite manly, do you mind if I worked with that so long as you're credited? Unless that was an offer, then this is just me being stupid....

deranger
I don't see any difference, and there are still a ridiculous amount of right angles in that map
