The Thief's Assassin
I'm surprised I haven't seen a topic on this, so, does anyone else play? Frequently or Infrequently?
Radiant Dragon
I play pretty frequently. I'm more of a casual player, though.
Defeatist Elitist
I fucking love Magic. Me and my bros play pretty regularly.
Rothene
Casual Blue magic lover. Has the burning compulsion to try to make a U/R deck with every new set. Haven't been going out to buy the cards lately due to low funds though. But I still follow the updates and stories.
Paperblade
I don't get to play as much as I'd like because I'm not good enough to go infinite on MTGO, my college roommates don't have as much interest in it, and I'm not about to throw away like $30 a week so I go the opposite end of the spectrum and only really spend money on prereleases and such. grandjackal
I don't play, butI've had a growing interest in it. I just don't think I'd be willing to spend money on a card game, even if it's a good one. Would enjoy reading up on it though.
Kaoz
I used to play pretty frequently, but nowadays I only attend prereleases or FNM every once in a while. I don't play, butI've had a growing interest in it. I just don't think I'd be willing to spend money on a card game, even if it's a good one. Would enjoy reading up on it though. If you want to give it a try, search for MagicWorkStation, the demo is free and has basically everything important.
Dark Sage
I've played Magic since I was little on and off, so I know what I'm doing when I play it. I enjoy Magic and I've actually been inspired to go to a local tournament recently. I don't think I'm good enough, but I like it a lot. I guess you could say I'm between a casual fan and a hardcore player. My dad and my sister though are hardcore players.
The Thief's Assassin
I usually also scrimp when it comes to buying, i usually will go to a Booster Draft or a Sealed Deck Tourney, you get a tournament and cards wrapped into one
Dark Sage
Oh dude. Draft tourneys are the best. I played a few with my sister and her friends and it's awesome. Did you get any rare cards from it?
The Thief's Assassin
haha actually yes Pulled this planeswalker in the last draft my friend calls me the "Lucky Bastard"
Radiant Dragon
Nice. I managed to get Tezzeret and Molten-Tail Masticore at the Besieged launch party, which was pretty cool.
The Thief's Assassin
Even more of a Ha-ha moment was this card same tourney, opened as the foil card Edited June 29, 2011 by The Thief's Assassin
The Thief's Assassin
I ended up trading Tezzeret to my friend in exchange for a bunch of cards and him helping me with deck building because im bad with deck building
Ether
I played until I took a hiatus, and came back to find every card I had was no longer legal aside from the mountains.
Dark Sage
I once got a Grave Titan during a draft tourney, and I once got a Platinum Angel in a later draft tourney. Good times.
Radiant Dragon
On the subject of the Titans... Anyone else think that Primeval Titan should have only let you search for basic lands, and not Valakut/Eye of Ugin/etc.?
The Thief's Assassin
i believe you only can search for basic I sooooo want a Grave Titan it would perfect my zombie deck
Radiant Dragon
No, you can search for non-basic lands. What I mean is that I believe he should have only let you search for basic lands.
Kaoz
Hmm hard to say, but I think it's fine that he can search for non-basic lands as well, it's nothing game breaking.
Paperblade
All of the titans are stupid. :| It was a sad day when the poster child for power creep in creatures became unplayable due to... power creep in creatures.
