Weapon Icon Contest

[3:22:54 PM | Edited 3:23:12 PM] Josh Thomas: So, this round will be a little different. Due to my recent return from retirement, I thought we might make this round a staff-themed round. Thus, I've compiled a list of the current staff members and their likely classes:

Jyosua - Swordmaster (Sword)

Tangerine - Wyvern Lord (Sword)

VincentASM - Master Knight (Light)

Fireman - Assassin (Knife/Dagger)

Lord Glenn - Fire Sage (Fire)

Narga_Rocks - Ranger / Horseman / Nomad Trooper (whatever you want to call it) (Bow)

Red Fox of Fire - Druid / Dark Sage (Dark)

Shuuda - Hero (Axe)

Sirius - Paladin (Lance)

As you can see, a weapon type is listed after each staff member. Your task is to pick a staff member and create a personal weapon for them (a "second-level" Prf, a la Sol Katti, etc.). (It needs to meet the weapon type listed after their name, and it should fit reasonably well with their class AND personality.)

Rules:

• 16x16 box. I may or may not check this. Honor system.
  
• FE colors.
  
• It is the responsibility of the voters and the spriters to ask "does that look like the right weapon rank?"
  
• Winner selects next challenge.
  
• You must make a new icon, no using a pre-made one.

I could sprite one based on class but I don't know the mods that well enough for personality wise.

I guess "personality" might not have been the best way to describe it. Basically, it'd be more along the lines of, "If X appears more violent/whatever, then make their weapon seem more like that. If X is more peaceful/etc., then the weapon should go along with that." (Also, note the "should fit" part of the post. Doesn't mean that they have to.) If you don't have a means of judging this, then don't worry about it and make it at least fit the class.

^ Still requires some level of knowledge of the staff, which immediately excludes newbie contestants and people who don't give a shit.

I chose Tangerine because I haven't made many "bigger" swords. The sword icons I usually do are thin.

Almost made a Gugurant-esque sword for Tangerine.

I present this sword to our overlord Jyosua:

The Fatal Edge, called as such for it's X-shaped design on the hilt, some 'points of interest' so to speak on the blade, and having a hefty 50 crit and 0 MT but negating an opponents defense.
