Chapter 5x: 9 Turns (45) Ok, I'm starting to worry about my turn counts vs. Queen Elincia's (1 turn but she also 4 turned Chapter 7) but hell, I wanted the Killer Lance and a Chest Key. Kyle killed the nearby enemies (including a Shaman and Archer with the Javelin), Forde played item boy and Orson and Ephraim killed shit as Ephraim ran to the throne. Ephraim got BEAUTIFUL level ups in the process. I could have probably done this one a turn quicker but I'm not sure if Kyle could have been done with the treasure room in time. Garcia goes north, parks his ass on a mountain and enjoys KOing Cavs for a couple of levels. Pirate!Ross, Eirika and Joshua push north-east. This chapter was basically self improvement while Garcia got the boss-kill on Enemy Phase 5. I gave Joshua the Dragonshield in order to help with his base durability since 2+ Def is going to go a long way on him. Garcia also got 2+ Spd in level ups in this chapter which is going to solve his doubling problems for a long time (his Hero promo is going to give him another 2+ Spd already with his awesome 14 Con). Orion's Bolt is also mine for the selling. Basically, aside from Ross who still has about ten gazillion chapters before his next promo, I got some good level ups here. He doesn't have Acc or Atk anywhere near Garcia but hell, that doesn't stop him from being good and vital. OHKOing Mages and ORKOing Soldiers is good enough for me. Basically, this was just a rush. I pushed the team towards Murrey as possible but hung Joshua back after taking care of the immediate threats that weren't Archers or Soldiers. Joshua then snagged the Pure Water off of the Mage that was following the team while Ross and Garcia tag-teamed Murrey for a 3RKO. Ross got the kill this time because I felt that he needs as much Exp as I can get at this point and Garcia is already awesome (with 11 Spd now). Too bad I'm losing Eirika, she's an offensive beast. Pushed Eirika up through the Knight room (room with the Angelic Robe) along with Ross and Garcia to KO everything. Joshua went west to meet up with Forde and to hold the path from the Cavaliers (well, not to hold but to gain some needed Exp. Ephraim and Kyle pushed north to the other treasure room but got stopped thanks to needing a Door Key. I figured that I wouldn't need the Angelic Robe or the Silver Sword even though both would be really nice since getting either would gimp my turn count by at least 3 turns. They're not essential so... Garcia 2RKO'd Tirado with a Steel Axe. Awesome. Neither is 10 Str Joshua who needs to like... quintuple crit Gheb to kill the fat bastard. I fielded Franz here to chat to Amelia and then snap her up. Reason? SPEEDWING! That's going to Garcia for sure. Aside from that, Ephraim went through like half of his Reginleif but kept OHKOing Cavs and Armours. Ross and Garcia were ORKOing just about everything and Kyle used the Killer Lance to crit kill stuff. I snagged the Ocean Seal and had Ephraim and Joshua book it to the throne room. Josh and Ross combined for the Gheb kill and Ephraim seized. FUCK THIS CHAPTER. Alright, competition over right now. Secret Book to Kyle (his Skl is shit) and Speedwing to Garcia. No promotions yet (but they'll probably happen next chapter for Ross, Garcia and Kyle). Anyway, the team rushed south to recruit Duessel and to grab the Hero Ring. Everyone then pushed east towards Beran and I managed to recruit Cormag at the same time (he was in the way so it got rid of an enemy, essentially). Beran then fell to Reginleif!Ephraim and Duessel's Silver Axe on Turn 8. Lot of experience gained here and I'm sure that a promotion for Ross and Kyle wouldn't have sped up the chapter. Life Posted July 17, 2011 Share Posted July 17, 2011 Chapter 11: 8 Turns (101) First off. The Deathgoyal has 40 HP, 14 Def and 14 AS along with a 1~2 range weapon. Duessel has 27 Atk (after WTA) and 14 AS with the Hand Axe. That's a 4HKO. AKA, I'm going to have to rely on a Ross critical since he does 42 damage in a critical. Aside from that, this was a promotion and support building chapter. Garcia and Ross finally got a C (both also promoted to Hero and Berserker respectively) and I started trying to get something going between L'arachel and Ephraim/Joshua. L'Arachel's my second last recruit so I finally have a healer. I'm going to try to get her up to B Staves as quick as possible. I also wanted to feed Kyle as much Exp as possible since I want him to promote for the next chapter so... yeah. It was mostly a 1-2 weapon fest for this chapter so I'm glad that I bought a million Hand Axes and Javelins last chapter. I'll probably send someone shopping in Taizel though. The Cyclops has 61 HP and 16 Def which allows Duessel to do 39 damage with a Killing Edge critical. 1 Spd proc or a Speedwing allows Duessel to double the sucker (I now regret the Speedwing on Garcia) which could be a 1RKO. Anyway, I basically just rushed the chapter. Duessell and a promoted Kyle rushed towards the Cyclops with the rest of the team in tow. I snagged the Guiding Ring off of one of the Shamans (droppable) so that L'Arachel can promote IF she hits level 10. L'Arachel healed basically everything while everyone else killed as much as they could. My team is now indestructible aside from Kyle but his 2 Move makes up for that. I also grabbed the Swordslayer which could be useful. Vanessa took care of the upper side of the ships and Cormag took care of bottom side of the ships. Ephraim was shielding Neimi and she would attack 2 range, she killed the boss (both Ephraim and Neimi were blocking the upper chokepoint). Vanessa was easily MVP because she took care of most enemies, or it seemed that way (alot of the mogalls suicided on her). By the end of the chapter Vanessa got to use Steel swords alot so she's alot closer to C swords. L'Arachel survived . Vanessa did reach C swords on her way, which is what I planned because I only have 1 axereaver for Cormag and she could use killing edge and it worked out fine. Didn't nab the guiding ring though. Selena dies on Vanessa on turn 2 iirc. Cormag flies towards Tethys and she refreshes him so he can deal with units over there. Meanwhile Neimi is helping train Marisa which worked out fine, Marisa parks in trees and critkills on EP. Somehow by the end of the map Vanessa ends up in the village to the right and Cormag ends up on village to the left. One of the pirate reinforcements dies on Marisa and the other on Cormag. Both villages were visited, the reason why I had Vanessa deal with the right village enemies is because she dodges better than Cormag. Everything dies on javelin Vanessa. Didn't keep track of Tethys exp. Everyone else was just gathering CEXP for the fun of it. I did Warp two other people though I think it was Ephraim and Neimi but I can't remember who exactly it was. TOTAL TURNS: 176 I'm way too slow aren't I? Vanessa was really good though she laughed off the chapters, I could of shaved many turns but idk exactly how. Marisa was unimpressive, and so was Knoll most of the time they were just there but I raised them for the heck of it. Cormag's res gets in his way and Neimi was too durability problems, Eirika and Ephraim are pretty solid, Syrene is good, and both Tethys and Saleh are gr8mazing but Vanessa was the best in my team. Prologue: 3/3 Nothing to say about this. Chapter 1: 5/8 Having Franz kill off the Soldiers was really helpful (otherwise I'd have had to hope for Eirika to dodge loads). Chapter 2: 6/14 Hurrah Moulder. Had Eirika get the Red gem and Moulder get the Pure Water. Left Garcia unrecruited (but he auto-joins at the end) so he could kill the bandit and archer. Chapter 3: 7/21 Rushed this chapter. Tried to advance everyone as much as possible. Chapter 4: 6/27 This chapter took a while to plan. I had Franz clear a lot of the top island and Eirika cleared the bottom. This time through I've managed to conserve the Javelin a lot better. No map-shopping is such a pain. Eirika: Level 10 Franz: Level 9 Moulder: Level 4 It's so hard to level healers in drafts. Chapter 5: 5/32 Last time I played this map, I wanted to level Moulder too much (I should've sent him to get the Dracoshield instead of Franz). So this time Moulder went to get the Dracoshield. Turn 1: Franz goes right and kills a Soldier and Fighter on EP. Natasha and Eirika moves up, the latter kills a Fighter on EP. Moulder goes to get the Dracoshield. Turn 2: Franz equips Javelin and obtains Armorslayer. He kills another Soldier and an Archer on EP. Eirika kills an Archer. Moulder gets Dracoshield. Turn 3: Franz goes onto the forest equipped with an Iron Sword. Eirika buys a Heal Staff. Natasha stays out of range of a Fighter. Moulder tries to meet up with everyone. Turn 4: Natasha recruits Joshua. Eirika massacres the bandits. Franz moves towards the boss and uses a Vulnerary. He fights 2 Soldiers and a Fighter on EP. Turn 5: Moulder heals Eirika (yay 11 exp). Franz stands near boss, equips Armorslayer and uses a Vulnerary. Onto 5x. My least favourite chapter. Chapter 5x: 9/41 When I did a trial run, I thought I cleared it really fast but it took 11 turns lol. Took me 3 tries to cut it down to 9 turns (everyone's accuracy is terrible and Forde can't double anything. Molder didn't get to heal much as he had to be positioned away from the enemies. Chapter 7: 9/54 I dunno what you're meant to do with Vanessa cos when I tried using her it still took me 8 turns (excluding the penalty) so I just decided to go round the long way. Chapter 8: 10/64 This chapter was a bit frustrating and I had to reset quite a few times. Franz could ORKO all the armours with Armorslayer so I just rushed him to the boss. Eirika was a bit behind cos I had her kill a lot of the enemies. Oh well. I only managed to get the Angelic Robe. Eirika: Level 15 Franz: Level 20 Moulder: Level 5 Ephraim: Level 9 Forde: Level 9 I can't really be bothered to reset for better turns because the chapters are getting so long. Chapter 9: 17/81 Didn't manage to get the Ocean Seal but nevermind. Just tower abused Amelia and she's now a Cavalier. Hurrah. Chapter 10: 10/91 Managed to level up Amelia and Tana quite a bit. Didn't manage to kill the boss though. Chapter 11: 8/99 This chapter was sorta frustrating. I had to restart a lot of time to work out the enemy placement and stuff (damn fog). Amelia and Tana have pretty poor defence so I had to keep them back quite a lot. Chapter 12: 5/104 Rush Franz to the buss and Killer Lance it. Chapter 13: 9/113 Flew Franz over to the islands using Tana and he pretty much decimated that area. I'm glad I bought so many Javelins earlier (I thought I bought too many but they're so useful)! I could've probably cleared this faster but I can't be bothered to reset anymore. Gave Tana the Energy Ring, Goddess Icon and Talisman (she also got the Angelic Robe). Caught up to KP's turn count (since I finished Chapter 5 in 9 turns while he did it in 5) and I'm solidly ahead of Queen Elincia with Psych just generally sucking. Basically, Berserker is awesome. I loaded Ross up with 2 Hand-Axes, an Iron Axe, Elixir and Pure Water, sent him down the center and watched him murder just about everything, including Selena. Joshua promoted to Swordmaster (extra Str was needed since Assassin!Joshua was 1 HP away from ORKOing some important Cavs) and took the right side with Ephraim and L'Arachel while Kyle, Duessel and Garcia cleaned up the left side. A pirate spawned on Turn 7 which had me scared but Garcia was in the right place with a Hand-Axe so... yeah. I also got the Barrier staff which will be a godsend for L'Arachel (probably the only thing that can dig her out of her hole). Oh yeah. Goddess Icon to Joshua and I'm trying to figure out who wants the Energy Ring. Probably Joshua but if Rennac/L'Arachel can use it well without it being a waste, they'll grab it instead.
