Akariss Posted October 13, 2011 Share Posted October 13, 2011 Hey guys, I've been trying to find an active Fire Emblem community to be a part of since it's a great series and truly doesn't get the credit it deserves. I've completed Blazing Sword (7) , Path of Radiance (9) and Radiant Dawn (10). Currently playing Sword of Seals (6), Sacred Stones (8) and Intend to get back into Shadow Dragon (11). I'm a pretty diverse gamer but I prefer strategy games and rpg, so it's no surprise that FE would be one of my most liked. I'm also a fairly active streamer and video recorder as well, my broadcast link is Here, and as of posting this I'm streaming FE6, come say hi and give me pointers =). I'm not exactly sure how great spectating Fire Emblem is, but I'm sure the reason it doesn't get much attention is because its a turn based strategy game which is a step away from traditional turn-based RPG-Adventures. I noticed that there are not many if at all streamers or youtube channels that do lets plays of the Fire Emblem series... As for videos, I could have stated the name of the song, but actually hearing it, is better no? I'm going to have to look into FE4, all the older FEs I haven't played because they weren't released in NA and the only one I have played is a patched Sword of Seals. Traditional let's plays of FE games are probably not terribly exciting unless there is significant active participation of audience. That's sort of appeal is probably even better accomplished by a stream, though. Let's plays that have a special focus, or other goal beyond simple vanilla completion are probably fine, and I would definitely encourage. I like these ideas as well, I haven't personally played FE vanilla completions in a while, so I wanted to get to that. Once I'm done a standard vanilla run, I'm looking into Lord only playthroughs. IIRC, If you into General on the main site, scroll down and you'll see "Translation Patches and Hacks". Click it, and all the translation patches from FE1-6 should be there.
