Ranulf Is My Pillow
I'm pretty sure this doesn't go here, but I didn't have any other ideas. =.= Which is the best emulator to play Shadow Dragon? Or any other ds game for that matter.
13th
It doesn't, but the answer is DeSmume.

Mousefire
Desmume always seems to lag for me as well. I use No$gba

Ranulf Is My Pillow
So...how would you go about fixing the lag?
The Envoy of the Beginning
You need a fast-enough computer to run DeSumMe at real-time speeds. It isn't one of those emulators that cater to slow computers.
Celice
On no$gba, there are unofficial branches of the program which seek to fix sound issues and other emulation issues. Fans try to keep the program updated. If you don't use these updates, you're gonna experience some trouble. I don't know is desummee has similar external plugins to help with emulation. I would think it wouldn't need it, with it still being worked on... but apparently it has its own share of problems. Generally, no$gba was/is very efficient in its emulation, and was/is notable for being more compatible with older hardware. This being said, it doesn't take much to emulate the DS pretty smoothly--but a very basic computer isn't very likely to cut it. What aspects are laggy? Is it only the sound, or does the gameplay itself lag as well? Edited November 17, 2011 by Celice
