It may be coarse but someone like Jontron's opinions as said are actually far more detrimental despite him never saying any slurs (I believe). The better part is the people who pretend to dislike him for some other reasons but obviously just don't like what he said either. I couldn't care less if someone is using words in a non-malicious context. For some more than others this is easier to do, but these people are only concerned by the morals of saying the word rather than the context or underlying comedy if it exists.
