Never used her and she was teh only spotpass character I recruited. I can answer #2: Play the VBA movie back on your emulator and while the movie is playing back, record it to AVI. Screw figuring out how to bust the huge pile of scales when I actually got the Boiling Lizard down to the red while fighting him at full health. It's not too out of the way to break the large fire scale.
