As for what I think of FE7, I liked it and had no major problems with it. As for if it's overrated, I personally wouldn't say so. It's definitely not Metal Gear Solid/Final Fantasy VI/VII/Ocarina of Time level overrated in terms of its fanbase and excessive hype, and I really wish people would stop accusing it of being such. I can hardly think of any rabid FE7 fans as well, even on GameFAQs. On a side note, people having issues with your favourite FE/using it to bash on you is exactly why I don't list my favourite FE game.
